How to get Freelance visa in dubai:
You can apply for a residence permit in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, Ajman and Sharjah or in any of the UAE region if you’ve been officially registered as a freelancer in one of the free zones; therefore, you must first get a freelancer license in Dubai.
Check your eligibility Before you apply for a freelance visa in Dubai, make sure that you fit the requirements. You must be 18 years old or older, have no criminal record and no history of political activism or religious extremism, and have been employed by your current employer for at least 12 months with at least seven of those months being within the past year.

This process is similar to registering a company, but the cost of a freelance license is significantly lower and no office space is required. Different types of freelance visa:
The freelance visa is issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MOFAIC). There are three types of freelance visas:
The Professional Visa: This visa allows you to work as an employee or under contract with a company in the UAE. The company must be registered with the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (MOLSA). You will also need an employment contract with that company.
The Mission Visa: This visa allows you to work for an embassy or consulate in the UAE. You must have been hired by an embassy or consulate in another country before moving to the UAE on this type of visa.
The Private Visa: This visa allows people who do not qualify for any other type of freelance visa due to their level of education or training (for example, if they don’t have enough experience) to work temporarily in the UAE as self-employed individuals.

In the UAE, an employer or employee may end a labor contract during the probation period without giving notice. And It is illegal for employers to ask employees to pay for their own visas. If an employee leaves a job, he or she is not liable for any of the employer’s costs. If an employee cannot pay for a flight home, the last employer will arrange and pay for it.
There will be a serious consequences for both the employee and the employer. If
you stay out of the country for more than six months, your visa will be
automatically cancelled. Once your visa is cancelled, you cannot re-enter the
UAE without getting a new visa from an embassy or consulate outside of the
I-TAE.
And there is chance that the employer may have reported you as absconding. If
you come back now, they may arrest you at the airport.
I .Offer letter: Once you have accepted a job offer, the employer will typically
begin the process of obtaining a work permit and entry permit on your behalf.
This process can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks, depending on
the employer’s internal processes and the requirements of the relevant government
agencies.
2. Signing the contract: Once the work permit and entry permit have been
approved, the employer will typically send you a contract to sign. This step can be
completed relatively quickly, usually within a few days to a week.
3 .Employee’s work permit: After you have signed the contract, the employer will
apply for your work permit through the Ministry of Human Resources and
Emiratisation (MOHRE). This step can take up to two weeks, depending on the
specific requirements and processing times.
4.Completing the last formalities: Once your work permit has been approved, the
employer will apply for your residence visa through the General Directorate of
Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in the emirate where you will be
working. This step typically involves a medical examination and other
formalities, which can take up to two weeks to complete. Once your residence
visa has been approved, you will be able to enter the UAE and begin work.
After a visa has been officially cancelled, a person has 30 days to leave the UAE
or be fined for overstaying.
If you are caught overstaying your visa, you will be charged a fine of AED 125
for the first day and then AED 25 for each subsequent day. There is also a service
charge of AED 100 when you leave the country.
And If you stay in the country beyond the grace period, your name could be
added to a list of people who are not permitted to enter the country.
